I purchased a ticket from another website, can you tell me if it's valid?

The Arena Box Office and Ticketmaster (Including Universe) are the only authorized ticket sellers for events at Hilliard Center. Tickets purchased through any other source may be invalid.

Hilliard Center cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from unauthorized sellers and is not responsible for replacing or refunding fraudulent or invalid tickets. 

Purchasing from third-party or resale marketplaces carries the risk of receiving counterfeit or unusable tickets. 

What are acceptable forms of payment for purchasing tickets?

Guests can pay for tickets at the Arena Box Office using a valid debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash and Checks are not accepted as forms of payment. 

What is the age policy? (Does my child need a ticket?
For most events, children under twenty-four months do not require a ticket to be admitted, however, they must sit on an adult’s lap and may not occupy a seat. Any child who has reached their second birthday will require a ticket to enter the arena and must occupy their ticketed seat.
Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) may have a different age policy. Any events varying from our age policy will be clearly indicated on the event listing and ticketing pages.
Box Office Location

Our main Arena Box Office is located on Resaca St. Temporary parking is available in front of the box office if you need quick access on non-show days. 

On Auditorium show days, Selena Auditorium Box Office is located near the Convention Center off Chaparral and Brewster St. 

Box Office Hours
Hours are 10:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. Evening, weekend and holiday hours vary according to event schedules. On event/show weekends, box office is open 2hrs prior to show time doors.
Handicap Accessible Seat Exchange
You cannot exchange your ticket in advance. When you arrive at the venue you may go to the Box Office and request to be relocated to ADA seating. Standard policy is one handicap seat plus one guest. This opportunity depends on availability of the seats. Accessible seats are available on each level of the Hilliard Center.

When can I expect a refund for a canceled show?

In the event that a show cancels, Ticketmaster’s turnaround time for processing refunds is 30 days.

Ticket Information

Paperless Ticket
Your phone will be scanned upon entry and this will act as your ticket to enter the arena. Before getting your ticket scanned, please have your phone ready with the barcode that is on the e-ticket for a quick entry.
Will Call
When purchasing tickets by phone or online, you may pick them up at the Box Office Will Call window. Please be prepared to present the credit card used to purchase the tickets, as well as a photo I.D. Press or VIP tickets may also be picked up at Will Call prior to the event. A photo I.D. is required.
Child Tickets
Most events do not require a ticket for children under the age of two. However, in order for a child to have his/her own seat, a ticket is required. Some shows intended for young children (i.e., Sesame Street Live) require children over the age of one to have a ticket. To inquire about specific events, please call 361-826-4700.
Pre-Sale Tickets
Pre-sale tickets are NOT available for purchase at the Box Office at Hilliard Center. Once tickets go on sale, they will be available for purchase at the Box Office during normal business hours.
Group Tickets
Specific events allow group discounts at the permission of the event organizer. The number that is considered to be a group varies on a show-by-show basis.
Cancelled Events
In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be returned to your point of purchase for a refund. If tickets were ordered by phone or online, a refund will be applied to the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Any lost or stolen ticket can be reprinted at the Box Office. The person who ordered the tickets along with the proper credit card and photo I.D. will be required.
Ticket Exchange/Non-Refundable
Unfortunately, you cannot exchange tickets and all tickets are non-refundable. When buying tickets, you must remember that everyone has access to the same tickets and these are available through every outlet, over the phone and online. Sometimes a buyer does not complete the purchase transaction and their seats are released back for others to buy.
Ticket Resale
The resale of event tickets on the grounds of Hilliard Center is strictly prohibited. To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen tickets, or inflated prices, please purchase your tickets through authorized Ticketmaster outlets only.
Third Party Ticket Sales
Hilliard Center does not provide tickets to “StubHub.com”, “Ticketsnow.com”, etc., — These sites are “speculating” that the sections they have listed will be available for them to sell. Re-sellers don’t buy tickets themselves. They provide an online marketplace for ticket brokers or individuals looking to sell and consumers looking to buy.
